Language

The official language of the congress is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
Climate

Temperatures range between 3ºC to 13ºC. (37ºF to 55ºF). Rainfall is a possiblity.
Certificate of Attendance

Certificate of attendance will be available for all participants.
Liability and Insurance

The Congress Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
Official Letter of Invitation

A personal letter of invitation may be downloaded from the EASL congress website ([Devi essere iscritto e connesso per vedere questo link] Alternatively, upon request, the Congress Secretariat will send a personal invitation to participate. This invitation is meant only to assist participants to raise travel funds or to obtain a visa and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support. Applications for invitation letters must be received at least 6 weeks prior to the congress.
Visa Requirements

Participants are requested to check with the German consulate in their home country or with their travel agency for visa requirements. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa in advance if required.
Food and Beverages

Business lunches and coffee/tea during breaks (as indicated in the programme), are included in the registration fee.
CME Accreditation

EASL 2011 will apply for CME Accreditation.
Exhibition

A commercial and industrial exhibition will take place within the framework of the congress.
